Error codeF7E2 / FBE1 / FBE2 / FEE8 / LO
ApplianceWall Oven
Quick answer
Four reset-only fault codes (F7E2 on wall ovens, FBE1, FBE2 and FEE8 on ranges) plus LO, a normal low-temperature or preheat display.
Model compatibility: JennAir reuses codes across series and model years, so F7E2 / FBE1 / FBE2 / FEE8 / LO may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What this code means
F7E2, FBE1, FBE2 and FEE8 have reset steps and no stated cause; LO means the oven is below 170 F or preheating.
These five labels get very brief treatment on JennAir’s range and wall oven pages. Four are fault codes without a stated cause, and LO is not a fault on the range page at all.
LO first
A display of “Lo” or “Pre” after the oven is turned on simply says the oven temperature is low, under 170 degrees F, or that the oven is preheating. No reset is needed. On some models the display switches to the actual temperature at 170 degrees F and then climbs in steps of 5 degrees, and a tone sounds once the set temperature is reached.
The four fault codes
F7E2: reset and no cause, per the wall oven page.
FBE1: reset and no cause, per the range page.
FBE2: reset and no cause, per the range page.
FEE8: reset and no cause, per the range page.
The manufacturer’s instruction for each is to power down at the breaker or breakers for one minute, power back up, then monitor the oven for a minute so the code stays away, and verify operation. As no part is named and no cause is given, there is nothing for an owner to inspect.
After the reset
JennAir ends its guidance with the reset. When F7E2, FBE1, FBE2 or FEE8 returns, service is the reason to call.
